Bud & Lou

This is Bud & Lou, aka Bud Abbott and Lou Costello of the comedy team Abbott and Costello fame. They may be fading into history these days with the modern age and about as relevant to kids today as Lily Langtree and Tom Mix were in my youth, but the older generation will get my reference. This was actually done in wood several years ago with contrasting black walnut and white maple and sits on my basement mantle, but I wanted to recreate it in stone. The little one has just said something unthinkable to the bigger one who is taken aback. We all have that friend born without a filter (and if you don’t, well guess what? It’s probably you…) and that’s what we have here. Simple, but nicely done.
