The Explorer in My Shower

Did you ever look at something, say like a tile, a pattern, a stain on the wall, and see an image as clear as day of something else? There’s a name for that for which I have completely forgotten, but it happens to me all the time. At church there is Santa’s sleigh and 5 reindeer in the floor tile that is clearer than most bible passages. And in my shower on the back tile wall is the Explorer, an Arctic explorer to be exact, as clear as anything once you see him, with a stocking cap, hair sticking out, mustache, covered in icy snow, turned away from you and looking over his shoulder. I can’t unsee it. So I traced it, reduced it just a bit to fit on the stone I had, and there you go, now you see what I see every night when I shower. There’s also a Flamenco dancer with her arms raised high under the showerhead, but she has no head, not such a great model to work with.
